A bit pricey, but we were there for about 3 hours. It was nice to see plants that are local and plants from all over the world! I lived in Honduras for 2 years, it was nice to see some plants that I lived near and grew myself. I was also in Africa and I enjoyed to see those plants. Then there were plants that I had never seen before! My wife and I had a great time. Lizards are everywhere. If you have never been to Florida, you will see little lizards everywhere.

Delightful oasis in Sarasota. We thought we would only be there for a couple of hours, and we ended up spending an entire afternoon. The gardens are lovely, and the staff are delightful and so willing to teach about native plantings. Terrific place to enjoy the South Florida tropical gardens.

Loved this beautiful place! It's well worth the 20.00 I paid to see a exquisite orchid garden! There's lovely walkways, and a museum also. The Glorious butterflies are Every where in this garden! I will be coming back with my friends, and relatives when they visit. Thank you for the wonderful experience. 😊

I am a member of this particular outstanding asset to Sarasota. And to the world. I never was a garden Aficionado before but this place is just unique. Sweeping gorgeous views of the Sarasota Bay and Banyan trees and exotic Florida that are exquisitely maintained, a hot house that isn't too hot. words do not do this place Justice. You need to go everybody that I have ever brought, thanks me profusely at the end of our visit. They have a lovely Cafe that's not a rip-off, get the quiche! It's a garden setting inside or out and all of the staff are lovely everywhere

Perhaps my favorite botanical garden I've visited in a city. My parents just moved to the area and my mom got a membership right away. The views and gardens are just stunning. It's a very diverse mix of topography and plants, with an indoor greenhouse filled with orchids, a native Florida section, a desert succulent garden, and a small edible garden. There are benches facing the bay and it's a great spot to sit and catch the breeze. We loved learning about Marie Selby and her husband. The banyan trees here are also just magical. Picturesque views everywhere you turn! I will definitely be back the next time I visit Sarasota!
